2. Scholarships for Transfer Students
A. Transfer Merit Scholarship
Awarding up to $3,000, the transfer merit scholarship is only offered to applicants who meet the following requirements:
- Be a new, incoming transfer student
- Be transferring at least 12 credit hours
- Be working on their first bachelor’s degree

3. State of Kansas Scholarships
Through the Kansas Board for Regents, the Kansas State offers various state-funded financial aid.
A. Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship
This scholarship program was designed to help students from the following ethnic groups: African American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Asian or Pacific Islander, or Hispanic. The Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarships are eligible for students who are in this group and in need of financial aid.
B. Kansas State Scholarship
To Kansas high school graduates who are in need of financial aid, the Kansas State has provided an additional option. To be eligible, the Kansas high school seniors must meet the following requirements:
- Have received a certificate of your completion of the required curriculum

C. Kansas Teacher Service Scholarship
Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the Kansas Teacher Service Scholarship awards students and teachers who are pursuing their degree, and for each year of scholarship support requires one year of teaching.

D. Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship
For students who are interested in becoming Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, the Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship is funded through a designated sponsor. There is an obligation for this scholarship, and the obligation is working for your sponsor one year for each year of scholarship support.
E. Kansas Military Service Scholarship

F. Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
Giving out more than 300 awards, the Fairmount College Scholarships amount to $600,000 per year, and these awards are all funded by donors. To be considered, an separate application is required.
G. Frank Barton School of Business
Awarding students who are pursuing a business-related career, the W. Frank Barton School of Business awards over $800,000 per year! As usual, a separate application needs to be made in order to be considered for this scholarship.
