Because of this reason, the links are shown down below, and, if you are a transfer student, please click on the links for information regarding your scholarships offered by University of Maine.

For information regarding in-state transfer students, view the UMaine’s Flagship Scholarship Programs.

For information regarding out-of-state transfer students, view the UMaine Flagship Match Scholarship Program.

3. Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships

Offered by the University of Maine, these scholarships are for students talented in art, music, dance, and theatre. Awarding $3,000 per year, the Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships are renewable for four years.

For further information, view UMaine Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships.

Renewing Scholarships

For some students, renewing scholarships can be a hard option to do if you are not studying for exams, tests, and quizzes. For scholarships that last for four years, students sometimes take for granted that they will receive the same scholarship again no matter how bad they do.

That is not the case since, for each scholarship, there is a renewal criteria that is attached. For most, the scholarship recipient needs to maintain a certain GPA while taking full-load of classes. After looking at the scholarship requirements and values, view the Scholarship Renewal Criteria.
