1. Chief Dull Knife College

To start off with the lowest cost, Chief Dull Knife College comes in the lead with $10,000 per year. Instead of being listed in the financial webpage, I have gotten this number by using the net price calculator offered by Chief Dull Knife College. Tuition values were listed on the website, but I needed to calculate the total cost of attendance for one year so I decided to use the net price calculator instead. Just by its name, we can figure out that Chief Dull Knife College was established by Native Americans, and it is indeed a Native American tribal community college that is open to any student. 2. Fort Peck Community College

Similar to the previous institution, Fort Peck Community College (short for FPCC) is another tribal community college located in Montana State. Tribal colleges were established on Native American reservations since many natives do not want to leave their homeland. To provide higher education for Native Americans on Fort Peck Reservation, Montana State has supported and established this community college so that Indian people are not denied the opportunity of higher education. Even though you are not Native American, you can still apply for FPCC since education is available for everyone, and Fort Peck Community College also charges a very low rate of attendance for its applicants.

3. Spokane Falls Community College

Unlike the first two colleges that we have visited, Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is not a tribal community college but rather a public community college. Located on two different campuses, SFCC offers its education in a variety of methods. First, in-class teaching is a traditional fact, but it also expanded its education by offering several courses online. Students at Spokane Falls can either receive a two-year certificate and go straight into the workforce or transfer to a four-year college to finish their degree. Either way, you are in a win-win situation since you start off with one of the cheapest colleges in Montana State.

Covering a large area of land full of residents, FVCC has innovated its academic programs to improve the quality of its graduates and also increase the rate of success of its students. Due to its many connections locally and regionally, graduates of FVCC are encouraged to apply for internships in a local business or transfer to a higher level of academic learning by going to a partner university. In order to further support its students, Flathead Valley has lowered its cost of attendance to match the asking price of other community colleges. Still among the cheapest colleges in Montana State, FVCC boasts of its top-tier education that is taught by its brilliant faculty.
